So, I wanna dig out a little contest, very simple and easy. All you gotta do is just answer this question: What does volunteering mean to you?
This word could mean many different things. Now, i got the idea of this while i was doing some volunteering the last few weeks. I got to go to a part of my city that i've never been to. And i soon found out why. Its because that part i went to, there were homeless people. And as soon as i saw them, i wanted to cry. Its very sad when people dont have very much. And, once i got to work, i felt happy because i brought smiles to some faces. Even complimenting someone can mean alot. So, what i'm getting at here is, You should always help someone. Even if its just saying something nice about how they look. I met this very nice lady today, she had a dog with her. And me and a friend went up to her, asked if we could pet the poor dog and then once we petted it we got into a nice little chat with the lady. But, it was a little sad talking to her because you could tell by the way she talked and walked that she had some kind of disability. So, i want you to really think about this contest. This word to me means, Being there to help someone and being nice. I've taken time out of my days to do it, and you know what? It was worth it. Contest ends, in 4 days.
